New Facility For Aftermarket Support Of Grove Platforms? 08/04/2008
The manufacture of Grove platforms, The Manitowoc Company, has added a new facility to its campus in Pennsylvania. The latest addition to the campus belonging to the manufacturer of Grove platforms is a project which is set to house aftermarket support which will potentially benefit customers who have purchased Grove platforms. It has been reported that over 1000 employees will be trained at the aftermarket support project which is being installed by the manufacturer of Grove platforms.
In addition, the manufacturer of Grove platforms has also recently completed a crane care building, reportedly also in Pennsylvania.
The original company responsible for Grove platforms, Grove Worldwide, was founded in the 1940s by John L. Grove. As well as founding the manufacturer of Grove platforms, John L. Grove also founded JLG Industries, another leading manufacturer of construction machinery and equipment. The Manitowoc Company bought Grove Worldwide, the manufacturer of Grove platforms in 2002. The recent addition to the campus of the manufacturers of Grove platforms in Pennsylvania looked set to arguably create a more efficient set-up as offices of the manufacturer of Grove platforms will be consolidated. This will arguably allow a successful merging of many aspects of the business of The Manitowoc Company, the manufacturer of Grove platforms.
