The company which manufactures Toyota forklift trucks, Toyota, has reportedly claimed that it will plant a tree for every Toyota fork lift truck sold in Australia. The move comes as Toyota celebrates the 40 year anniversary of sales of Toyota forklift trucks in Australia.

For very sales of a Toyota forklift truck (that is a forklift powered by a Toyota engine, the company, Toyota has promised to plant a tree throughout 2008. It has been predicted on current sales figures of Toyota forklift trucks that this will see the plantation of up to 3000 trees.

The Toyota forklift tree plantation plan has been arranged in coalition with Greenfleet. The company Greenfleet have worked alongside corporate companies since 1995, during which time they have worked with private and private companies so as to create forests and rebalance a natural mix.

Toyota fork lift trucks are known for their functionality, and it is claimed that as they are highly recyclable at the end of their shelf life, that they are in fact amongst some of the worlds greenest fork lift truck models.
