Forklift Uk Sales Increase
The sole provider of industrial truck sales figures in the UK has released their overall sales figures for the last quarter of 2007. The figures released by BITA indicate a growth in the sales of forklift trucks. Forklift trucks have enjoyed increased sales, and it has been reported that 2007 is the fourth consecutive year in which UK suppliers saw orders of forklift trucks which equated to more than 30,000 annually.
Other industrial trucks sales aside from forklift trucks also grew. For example, low level order pickers
enjoyed a dramatic increase. Low level order pickers
saw over 2000 orders placed. This was an increase of about 25% over the period of 2007.
Forklift trucks have grown in popularity it would appear. A similar trend is apparent in New Zealand, in which industrial equipment company AB Equipment is reported to be enjoying strong demand in the market for forklift trucks and other construction equipment.
Forklift trucks and other construction and agricultural equipment
may in fact be the focus of increasing popularity because of increasing frequencies of road and travel infrastructure improvement programs. This is especially an issue in developing countries, in which construction and agricultural equipment
and machinery such as forklift trucks are used in regenerative efforts.
